Fort Collins Rockhounds,Inc.

A rock and mineral club you and your family are welcome to join.

Our programs feature films, lectures, slide presentations, and "show and tell" on topics of interest to those who want to become more knowledgeable about geology, fossils, minerals, faceting, cabbing, or lapidary/metalsmithing work. Meetings also include refreshments, door prizes, and social time.

Our activities include field trips in the summer and indoor field trips in the winter. We host the annual Gem and Mineral Show in the spring at the Lincoln Center. We also participate in special projects. We maintain an extensive club library and publish an informative monthly newsletter. Social activities include an annual Holiday dinner and an annual summer picnic complete with rock bingo!

We are members of the American, Rocky Mountain, and Colorado Federation of Mineralogical Societies.

Annual dues are $10 per couple/family, $2 for a junior member, and $8 for a single membership.
